10 Totally Unnecessary WWE Gimmick Changes

2. Braun Strowman (Monster > Victim)

WWE ran out of ideas for Braun Strowman, and this is proof.

Since fleeing the Wyatt Family nest and flying solo in 2016, Braun had been the company's designated monster. He edged out Big Show, Kane and literally else to make that role his own, and it was a damn good spot for him. Braun pushed over trucks, hurled wrestlers around and got over by being a killer.

During the build to his unwanted match vs. Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 37 though, Strowman played the sympathy card. He claimed that he'd been bullied for the way he looked, and even said that this had been happening "[his] entire life". Sorry, what was that?

A man who stood up to Brock Lesnar, decimated everyone in his path and literally pulled down lighting rigs with his bare hands was getting booboo faced because Shane O'Mac dumped some green slime on him? WWE didn't think this switch from monster to victim through.
