10 Toughest Bastards In UFC History

8. Diego Sanchez

Diego Sanchez could find a spot on this list purely for the wince-inducing kick to the head he received from B.J. Penn at UFC 107. While having his head literally split open didn't stop Sanchez, a doctor stoppage would follow once Penn began beating the absolute living piss out of Diego.

Still, rarely has a fighter taken such a beating and not been knocked out by sheer will and determination.

What makes Sanchez such a fun fighter to watch, is the fact that he's one of those nuts guys who will just keep powering forward towards the oncoming bombs that are being thrown at him.

Few fighters in the history of the UFC can match Diego Sanchez when it comes to being able to carry on after taking absolutely massive shots.
