10 Toughest WWE Wrestlers (Who Were Under 6 Foot)

9. Spike Dudley (5'8")

Spike Dudley was one of the most entertaining little men in wrestling history. He was also one of the more popular guys in ECW and WWE because of his ability to take a beating. There was period in ECW where he legitimately became a main event guy. They put him against Mike Awesome in a World Title feud and even gave them a PPV match. Spike got his ass kicked for much of the match, which was the usual for him since he spent a lot of time in his career putting over others. He also kept on fighting despite getting his ass kicked. His listed height was 5'8" and he weighed 150 pounds, so he really was one of the smallest wrestlers to make it to WWE. Part of the reasons he was so successful was because of his "littlest runt in the yard" persona that he earned by getting his ass kicked repeatedly and always fighting back too. Guys like Spike and previously mentioned Crash Holly were great talents just because they were able to last in a big man's world when so many others their size would have failed.
