4. Dawn Marie And Al Wilson

WWE rather astonishingly gave nine months to a feud between Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson, of all people. The two divas had their fans but nine months was way too long for a feud between the pair. Nine weeks would have been considered long by most. Nine days was more appropriate. Their feud intensified, for lack of a better term, when Dawn developed feelings for Torrie's (real-life) father Al, who was interjected into the storyline out of the blue. It was all a scheme to get back at Torrie, of course, since Dawn was jealous of her Playboy deal and popularity. The whole angle was absolutely ridiculous. Al proposed to Dawn, who accepted. They were engaged. Dawn agreed to call off the wedding if Torrie would spend the night with Dawn in her hotel, which she did. WWE aired some incredibly tame footage from Torrie and Dawn's hotel room rendezvous at Armageddon. Dawn and Al did eventually get married, in their underwear, on Smackdown. Sadly, their matrimony was not to last: Al collapsed and died during a vigorous lovemaking sessions while the happy couple were on their honeymoon. Torrie, Dawn and especially Al had to suffer through this angle. RIP Al Wilson 1941 - 2003.
