7. Chris Jericho & Chyna Are Co-Champions

Chris Jericho has repeatedly stated that his WWF run didn't get off to the best of starts. The man's debut promo opposite The Rock was promising, but Y2J was having a hard time living up to the huge reputation he had come to the company with, and found himself starting to slide down the ladder. Working a program with Chyna also didn't really appeal to the man, and it can't be a time of his career he looks back at fondly. Feuding over the Intercontinental Title, Jericho and Chyna would actually end up being 'co-champions', accidentally pinning one another simultaneously on an episode of Smackdown in late-1999. This would lead to a Triple Threat Match at the following month's Royal Rumble, where Jericho finally captured the gold for himself in a bout also involving Hardcore Holly. Whilst the idea of two people holding the belt at the same time brought up some interesting scenarios, it wasn't really capitalised on, and the run isn't officially recognised by WWE. That begs the question, why bother? Sadly, this is just another example of the Intercontinental belt being treated poorly.
