10 UFC Fighters Who Died This Past Decade

6. Tim Hague

Tim Hague was a Canadian fighter who had a career in mixed martial arts that lasted nearly a decade. The heavyweight out of Boyle, Alberta was an elementary school teacher prior to becoming a professional fighter.

Over the course of his career, Hague had a total of five fights in the UFC and went 1-4 during his time with the promotion. He even co-headlined UFC: Fight for the Troops 2, where he has defeated by current Bellator MMA standout, Matt Mitrione.

Outside of MMA, Hague also competed as a professional boxer from time to time.

On June 16, 2017, the former UFC fighter was knocked out while boxing fellow Canadian, Adam Braidwood. Sadly, the 34-year-old suffered a brain hemorrhage during the contest and passed away just two days later.
