10 UFC Fighters Who Died This Past Decade

5. Corey Hill

Corey Hill was a former college wrestler who became affiliated with the UFC as a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 5 reality series in 2007.

Though he was eliminated from the Ultimate Fighter tournament by Nate Diaz, the UFC would eventually decide to sign the talented grappler.

Hill won his UFC debut but would end up losing his next two bouts with the promotion. During what would be his last fight with the organization, Hill suffered a gruesome leg injury that kept him sidelined for over a year.

He would eventually recover and resume his career outside the UFC, though he struggled to return to form.

In May of 2015, Corey Hill suffered cardiac arrest due to a collapsed lung and tragically died at the age of 36.
