10 UFC Fights For Brock Lesnar That We Wish Had Happened

4. Alistair Overeem*

A non-steroid using Alistair Overeem, anyway. Overeem was the man who sent Lesnar into retirement, but a huge asterisk comes with that win. Overeem ran from a drug test prior to the fight, and although he was eventually granted a conditional fight license, he eventually failed a drug test within his probationary period. However, that failure came several months after the Lesnar fight, so the athletic commission did not negate the victory, which very much should have become a No Contest based on the conditions of Overeem being allowed to fight in the first place. In essence, they allowed Overeem to successfully "cycle off" at fight time only to be caught after the fact. What would a healthy Lesnar have done against an Overeem without the taint of a drug test failure? Good question. Overeem's first few fights after his drug test failure suspension had dismal results: he was knocked silly by both Antonio Silva and Travis Browne, fighters who he was a heavy favourite against.
