10 UFC Fights For Brock Lesnar That We Wish Had Happened

5. Junior Dos Santos

Lesnar vs. Dos Santos came extremely close to happening, as the pair coached opposite one another during The Ultimate Fighter 13. However, diverticulitis felled Lesnar, and the fight never wound up taking place. Which was a huge loss to MMA fans, because at the time, Lesnar and Dos Santos were considered the two best heavyweights in the world. Since then, Dos Santos has had mixed results. He beats everyone who isn't Cain Velasquez, basically, but against Velasquez, he has taken two beatings of epic proportions that became, frankly, hard to watch. It's likely that those losses took a few years off his career (if not his life), but he has still managed to pull out wins against everyone else he has faced of late. What could prime Lesnar have done? Taken JDS down. Thought it might be somewhat controversial, a healthy Lesnar would have had a great shot against Dos Santos, and Velasquez has shown that he is, in fact, beatable.
