That announcement marked the end of a long career for "Big Nog" - who is recognized as one of the best heavyweights of all time. He was a dominant force in Pride, and though he struggled by the end of his UFC run, that came after years and years of wars against the best. One of the best Brazilian Jiu-jitsu experts in the game, Big Nog in his prime would have been a formidable foe for Lesnar, but one that Lesnar should have been able to get the upper hand against, using his sheer athleticism to overpower the Brazilian. Some of Nog's struggles came against bigger fighters (at 240lbs he was never a huge heavyweight), something that Lesnar could take advantage of.
