They fought twice, and with one win a piece, a third bout was something that fans were very excited to see. Frank Mir was very open to it as well, but sadly, we'll never get to see it with Lesnar retired. Just a year ago, however, if one were speculating, the easy money would have been on Lesnar crushing Mir in a third fight. Mir had lost four straight at that point, and many thought his career was just about over. Then, like Arlovski and Cro-Cop, Mir began an unlikely resurgence, winning two straight with knockouts over Antonio Silva and Todd Duffee. If the two were matched up today? It's anyone's guess, but prime Lesnar pretty much had his way with Frank Mir.
