10 UFC Fights That Need To Happen In 2020

8. Masvidal Vs. Nick Diaz

Nick Diaz is one of the toughest fighters to ever compete in the UFC, yet his career has been one that's so often been dogged by suspensions and USADA issues. Having not fought since January 2015's shambolic UFC 183 fight against Anderson Silva - a contest that saw both fighters fail drug tests - it looks as if Diaz is weighing up a return to avenge his brother Nate's recent loss to Jorge Masvidal.

Due to his inactivity and the fact that he made his UFC debut way back in 2003, it feels as if Diaz shouldn't even be contemplating a fight against somebody like Jorge Masvidal. In truth, Masvidal is only one year younger than the 36-year-old Diaz.

On his day, Nick Diaz was one of the baddest MFers in the fight game. There are just so many questions about whether or not he'd be able to cope with a Jorge Masvidal who has had a phenomenal year in which he's competed three times, had two jaw-dropping KO wins, and managed to overcome Nick's younger brother, Nate Diaz.

With so much intrigue behind seeing Nick Diaz return to face Gamebred, this fight seems like a no-brainer to make should Diaz indeed be serious about stepping back into the Octagon.
