10 UFC Rivals Who Seriously Can’t Stand Each Other
8. Brock Lesnar And Frank Mir
Brock Lesnar didn't step into the world of MMA because he wanted to make friends. In fact, the star seemed hell bent on p*ssing off as many people as possible throughout his UFC career.
However, his most memorable verbal sparring partner was undoubtedly Frank Mir.
Mir beat Lesnar in the pair's first encounter at UFC 81, after Lesnar had been ordered to get off of his rival due to hitting Mir on the back of the head. After being separated, Mir eventually found a way to lock in a knee bar and tapped out Lesnar for the victory.
In the wake of that clash, Mir provoked Lesnar by saying that 'he cried uncle' and even claimed that he wanted 'to break his neck in the ring' after Lesnar won the rematch at UFC 100.
Those comments came off the back of Lesnar stating in his UFC 100 post-fight interview that he pulled a horseshoe out of Mir's ass and 'beat him over the head with it' during their UFC Heavyweight Championship unification bout.
Lesnar isn't known for being the sort of person you want to poke, but Mir clearly doesn't mind getting under the skin of 'The Beast'. We may even see a rubber match between the pair one day in the future, if Lesnar ever decides to leave WWE and Dana White fancies bringing in Mir for one last mega fight.
