10 UFC Rivals Who Seriously Can’t Stand Each Other

6. Ronda Rousey And Miesha Tate

Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey's heated rivalry kicked off in the lead up to their first ever clash at Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey in March 2012, when the pair started to take shots at each other during interviews.

Tate felt that the constant media attention surrounding Rousey was only due to the fact that she was seen as 'pretty', but Rousey proved that she was the real deal after winning the bout via technical submission and becoming the new Strikeforce Bantamweight Champion.

After both signing for the UFC, the bitter enemies then became rival TUF coaches for the show's 18th season and were eventually booked to fight again for Rousey's Bantamweight title at UFC 168.

Proving that there was still plenty of animosity between the two, Rousey went out of her way to flip off her opponent during a face-off in the lead up to the rematch and blatantly refused to shake Tate's hand after the Champion retained her belt at the event.

Despite both fighters seemingly hanging up their fingerless gloves for good in recent times, Tate couldn't resist firing a shot at Rousey last year during a SiriusXM radio show appearance.

When talking about Rousey, she said: 'She has an inflated ego, she does have all of those things. I talk about myself and we’re polar opposites, that’s why we never really got along.'

Some rivalries never die and it looks like Rousey and Tate's hatred towards each other is still alive and well.
