10 Ugliest Wrestling Championship Belts

8. WWE ECW Championship (2008 - 2010)

The original ECW Championship belt wasn't exactly understated, but it made sense for ECW (plus, this is pro wrestling - who needs understated?). When WWE resurrected the ECW brand in 2006, they used an updated version of the old belt, but in 2008 - for some inexplicable reason - WWE decided to replace the title with one of the least-impressive belts in company history.

All silver is a no-no, as are thick straps. More than that, though, there's just nothing whatsoever about the belt that makes it anything special - certainly not "world championship" special. There's a bird, but that's never really worked anywhere but on the WWE Championship. With this redesign, it became clear - if it wasn't already - that WWE's version of the ECW Title was not to be taken seriously.

If the design of the title wasn't bad enough, the belt always looked cheap and shoddily made. According to rumors, there was no "main copy" of the title, and the ECW Champion was actually carrying around the same replicas that were available on WWEShop.com.
