10 UGLIEST Wrestling Championships Ever

5. 5 Star Wrestling Tap Or Snap Championship

5 Star Wrestling/Leather Rebels

All of 5 Star Wrestling's championships were heinous transgressions in the world of cummerbund-making, let's clear that up, but the Tap or Snap title, in particular, was a revolting act of lawlessness that not even its makers - the otherwise-thrilling Leather Rebels - should take credit for.

Based on a black strap with a primarily golden colour scheme (at least they got that right), the strap's focal point was a strange composition of irregular angles at equally-irregular loops, black at the top and golden at the bottom. Its asymmetrical enticement was off-putting, its lettering basic beyond belief and seemingly making use of the default font, and its golden look appeared almost mediocre and off-golden - admittedly this may just be the reflection from some photos - the title embodies everything that was wrong with its allied promotion. A sketchy title history does the belt no favours either, held by just two champions - Mark Haskins and Matt Riddle - for a combined lifespan of 47 days; it was doomed from the off, as was 5 Star Wrestling.

The condemned promotion should at least be given credit for going rogue on this design, as both the Heavyweight and Tag Team titles had the exact same design. They were WWE-lite to a tee.
