10 Ultra-Rare WWE Championship Matches You've Definitely Never Seen

8. Bret Hart (c) Vs Owen Hart (July 8th, 1994)

Trusting in the quality of work more than how well their names could draw crowds, WWE took the bold gamble of affording 60 minutes to Bret and Owen Hart on several house shows coming out of WrestleMania X.

On the 'Grandest Stage', the brothers worked an opener that was as beautiful as it was clinical to set the stage for 'The Hitman's reclaiming of the WWE Championship later on in the show. From there, it was off to the towns with a summer series of matches on pay-per-views and live events. But, much like they had to share Match-Of-The-Night billing with Shawn Michaels at the 'Show Of Shows', the hour long "marathon" matches they contested went mostly forgotten in WWE canon before 'HBK' claimed the stipulation as his own after an Iron Man victory over the elder Hart two years later.

Though a July 9th fancam version of the match surfaced online several years ago, three others (including the first one held just 24 hours earlier) took place that - because Bret and Owen were the best - played through with different orders of falls and decisions.
