7. Bobby Heenan Regrets Entering Lift With Andre

Even though the men became relatively good friends away from the ring, it must have been difficult to ride alongside the gargantuan Andre The Giant from town to town. Looking on the bright side, Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan has stated during interviews over the years that he always had fun seeing how people outside the wrestling world reacted when faced with the gigantic superstar. During a WWF trip to Japan, Heenan recalls seeing Andre down numerous bottles of wine, getting merry and throwing back shots into the bargain. In addition to this, he was always devouring a whole load of food, something he was quite famous for - being a literal giant comes with a big stomach, after all. Back at the hotel, Heenan and Andre called on an elevator. When it opened, there were around 4/5 Japanese businessmen and women inside the lift, but that didn't stop Andre from getting in. Following him, Heenan says he knew the giant had something up his sleeve, and he proceeded to let out a suitably massive fart! The manager has said that he found it incredibly hard not to laugh, as nobody said a thing apart from Andre, who couldn't stop bellowing with laughter.
