10 Unbelievable Wrestling Road Stories (That Actually Happened)
5. Mick Foley Abandoned On Gay Beach
During their time together working for WCW, Mick Foley, William Regal and Steve Austin became pretty good chums, but they would have been pretty heavily embarrassed had any of their peers been present for one unfortunate trip to the beach. Fully decked out in pink beach shorts and a vest, Austin looked every bit like he belonged in The Dynamic Dudes tag-team. As for Foley, he's never really had the best body around, but even he was in the beach-bum spirit, and the three pals headed off to soak up some rays and maybe for a paddle in the water. Upon reaching the sand, Foley decided to go for a swim, but was shocked to look to shore and see his buddies nowhere in sight. Coming out of the water, the future-Mankind could see nothing but groups of barely-clothed men, and a lot of them seemed to be together. It was only then that Foley realised Regal and Austin had clocked that this was a beach pretty much reserved for gay men, and had retreated back to the street, laughing all the way.
