Emma was arrested in Hartford, Connecticut on June 30th this year for stealing an iPhone case from a Walmart. Because of this, she did not appear on Raw that night and appeared in court the next day. The day after he court appearance WWE announced on its website that they were wishing her the best in her future endeavours. WWE did a U-turn later that day and reinstated her 'upon further evaluation' of her case but promised to take appropriate action for her law-breaking activities. Emma, in her defence, has said that she didn't try to steal the case but that it didn't scan properly on the self-service device. Whatever happened, it was a huge knee-jerk reaction by WWE and it was harsh to release her without knowing the facts.
