Watching Adam Cole superkick Ricochet mid-moonsault never gets old.

In the first major defence of the North American Championship, Adam Cole battled the uber-popular Ricochet, who was fresh off a great feud with The Velveteen Dream. At the fourth show in Brooklyn - most famous for the main event of Ciampa vs Gargano in a Last Man Standing match - these two super-athletes put it all on the line to absolutely tear the house down.

You find a more PWG match outside of PWG. Flips, no-sells, and crazy-ass stunts a plenty, this was exactly what the hardcore NXT fans wanted to see - two incredible performers playing their best hits.

The two men worked with each other perfectly, their offence slotting together like a violent jigsaw where the picture is a top rope hurricanrana to the floor.

What's more, it had the perfect ending - the heroic Ricochet ending the inaugural title reign of Cole and capturing the North American Championship, a title he helped to cement.

Rewatching this match proves three things - Adam Cole is the best, the North American Championship was a great idea, and Ricochet is being wasted on the main roster.
