10 Underrated WWE Attitude Era Matches
5. Chris Jericho Vs. X-Pac (No Mercy 2000)
The WWE mid-card in the year 2000 was just about as good as it's ever been, and two of the big reasons for that were Chris Jericho and X-Pac, two stars who were just a hair's breadth away from breaking through the main event's glass ceiling.
In fact, it was only a few months prior that Jericho's WWE Title reign was cruelly annulled by Earl Hebner after he scored a win over Triple H on Raw - and yet Y2J was still putting on matches like this at the bottom of the show.
This grudge match, which took place inside four sides of unforgiving steel, is perhaps best known for its closing sequence, which saw Jericho trap his opponent in the Walls of Jericho whilst they were both halfway to escaping the cage.
