10 Underrated WWE Survivor Series Matches You Must Watch
9. Los Guerreros vs Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle vs Edge & Rey Mysterio (Survivor Series 2002)
Smackdown was a very exciting show to watch in the second half of 2002. Inspired by Paul Heyman, the show focused more on in-ring action and pushing entertaining wrestlers than it did on necrophilia angles like Raw was doing. Rey Mysterio, Edge, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Chavo and Eddie Guerrero were a major part of the show's success. Dubbed the 'Smackdown Six' they wrestled each other every week in various combinations and the results were usually spectacular. They paired off into tag teams and began a three way feud which produced several blinders and build to an elimination match with all three teams at Survivor Series in Madison Square Garden. Their match at the Survivor Series is often overlooked because the show featured the first ever Elimination Chamber match and the debut of Scott Steiner. Some fans were disappointed with the match at the time but watching it now it is hard to see where the complaints come from. Despite a few minor hiccups all three teams are on the same page as each other and the match is never once dull. The exchanges between Eddie and Rey are a particular highlight. The incredibly entertaining Guerreros walked away with the gold after cheating to win. Hey, at lease they're honest about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVCitfvKDRI
