10 Underused WWE Superstars (And How They Should Be Booked)
1. Shinsuke Nakamura
'The Artist' Shinsuke Nakamura has struggled to keep his character relevant since the day he arrived on the main roster. He had a stellar run in the developmental territory, where he held the NXT Championship two times. Unfortunately, things did not get going for Nakamura on the blue brand. After winning the Royal Rumble in 2018, he had a dull rivalry with AJ Styles.
The creative team turned him heel and even gave him the mid-card belts multiple times. Still, somehow, his gimmick did not connect with the fans. Unfortunately, he finds himself directionless on Friday nights, wrestling in random matches. It would be great if WWE would allow him to switch brands now. It has been a long time since he has been on SmackDown.
A move to RAW could revive his character and help him become a credible name on the main roster. Apollo Crews benefited a lot with this switch. The writers can easily say that the draft pick expired. Hence, the USA officials could sign Nakamura from FOX. He can then have feuds with the likes of Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, and even Drew McIntyre.
With the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event approaching, it would be great if the company allows him to revert to his 'King of Strong Style' gimmick instead of booking him as an artist on the TV. As he possesses an immense amount of experience, a few solid rivalries would establish him as a leading name on the flagship show.
