10 Most Undeserved WWE Burials Ever

5. Mark Henry

In 2011, you would have been hard pressed to find a superstar more over than Mark Henry. His Hall Of Pain gimmick was flourishing, he captured the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career, and his promos were intense and electrifying in their authenticity. He was the real deal for most of that year, and it looked like things were going to trend up for him. Unfortunately injury would strike, and he would require surgery in early 2012 that would go on to keep him out of action for 9 months. His return wasn€™t nearly as hot as his run with the title and the Hall Of Pain had been, but they WWE nearly found a way to recapture the magic by having him fake his retirement and attack then WWE Champion John Cena. It seemed as though they had recaptured the authentic intensity that had him over in 2011, but the made the mistake of turning him babyface. He lost all the edge, all the intensity, and all the anger that made people respect him, and reverted back to the boring, babyface version of his character. He became fodder for The Shield and Brock Lesnar, and rumors of a tag team with Big E that would lead to a rivalry between the two strong men never materialized. He€™s allegedly available to compete as we speak, but isn€™t being utilized. The Hall Of Pain should re-open, but that doesn€™t seem likely. For all intents and purposes, it€™s been shut down and buried for good.
