10 Most Undeserved WWE Burials Ever

3. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is a guy that everybody and their mother thought was destined for greatness. Vince McMahon appeared on WWE TV and said as much to us, which only established that behind the scenes, the higher ups had faith in him at 24 years old. Fast-forward 5 years and the guy was just released after being a member of 3MB for the better part of the last two years. What the bloody hell happened? It€™s impossible to know, but rumor has it that he was buried because of things going on in his personal life, including a work visa issue (that also plagued Wade Barrett) and an altercation he and then wife Taryn Terrell. If so, that might be one of the most ridiculous reasons for a burial in the history of the WWE. Not only were charges never filed nor was he arrested as a result of the dispute with his ex-wife, but they proceeded to separate and she was let go. For that issue to have completely halted his push and conversely result in him being buried is asinine. It would have been nice to see this guy continue to grow and be put in a position to succeed. Not many people know, but he did a great job playing a babyface character in the old WWE developmental territory FCW, when he feuded with a heel Sheamus. That rivalry could have been renewed on WWE TV with the roles reversed, or they could have double turned and Drew could have played the hero for the first time in his WWE career. He was €œThe Chosen One€ upon arrival, and due to a few issues that in the grand scheme of things were minor, he was buried and made into a joke. It€™s truly a shame.
