10 Unexpected WWE Moments Caught On Camera

1. Vince McMahon Tearing His Quadriceps

The 2005 Royal Rumble was supposed to end with a straight up Batista win, but he and John Cena tumbled out of the ring at the same time instead and forced WWE to think on their feet. That's when Vince McMahon strolled down the aisle and blew out both his quadriceps muscles.

McMahon had been coming to relay a new finish to everyone involved and ensure WWE had the Rumble winner they planned.

Unfortunately for Vince, he caught both knees on the steel frame of the ring and collided with the apron when rolling in. Thus, fans watching were left with the bizarre visual of McMahon sitting against the ropes as referees argued about who had won. Meanwhile, Batista and Cena looked utterly baffled by what was going on.

The accident unexpectedly turned a heated moment into one that looked comedic. McMahon had to be helped backstage, Batista won the restart and the injury was never referenced again on TV. Vince was no doubt rather embarrassed.
