6. Randy Orton

Despite some feeling like Randy Orton, as a character, had become a little stale over the last few years, 'The Viper' has somehow found a way to become the most hated man on the WWE roster...again.

He ended 2019 by pulling a fast one on A.J. Styles, but this was merely a sign of things to come. Orton was just as unpredictable as he'd ever been; he just needed the perfect opportunity to show it.

That moment presented itself when his old 'Rated RKO' buddy Edge arrived back on the scene at the Royal Rumble, with Orton then being the first to greet the star during his Monday Night Raw return the following night.

Suddenly turning on Edge before blasting his surgically repaired neck with a chair, Orton became public enemy number one and set the tone for his next few months.

Since ruining his former ally's triumphant return, Orton has been routinely mesmerising on the microphone and increasingly despicable inside of the squared circle.

Branding him the 'GREATEST WRESTLER EVER' may be a bit of a stretch, but few foresaw the former WWE Champion causing as much of a fuss as he has done throughout 2020.
