10 Unique Pitches To Save Struggling AEW Stars

3. Abadon, Danhusen, and The Dark Order

Speaking of silliness, The Dark Order was at its best during the COVID-19 lockdown when they transformed from a laughably uncool heel group that wasn't the slightest bit imposing to a collection of loveable losers who might as well been named The Dork Order.

Even at their peak, though, Tony Khan must have never felt it necessary to give them a tag team or trios title reign, so they eventually just lost steam and became less and less featured, to the point that they now only fill in the blank here and there and wrestle mostly on Ring of Honor.

Being heels for a bit didn't rejuvenate them, and it seems they're back to their "endearing" ways, but without a firm commitment to that on AEW television. While it won't likely lead to them reaching new heights, it's better to turn into the skid and go back to what works.

But they need new members to freshen it up and replace the ones who are gone. Why not throw in Danhausen and Abadon, who aren't doing anything that would stop them from trying this out?

Abadon's lost all her mystique. Let's see if she can be funny. Danhausen just isn't doing anything at all anymore.
