10 Unthinkable WrestleMania Records WWE Will Break Soon

6. Highest Ever Attendance

If there's one thing you can say about the United States, it's that they love to build new stadiums.

Legendary WrestleMania venues like the Pontiac SIlverDome and the Georgia Dome are no more, while the Reliant Astrodome sits empty. Fortunately for WWE, bigger and better stadiums have risen from the ashes. The current attendance record for 'Mania is 101,763. If you believe WWE's own numbers, AT&T Stadium was packed to the rafters with fans for WrestleMania 32. It's a good thing they counted before Triple H vs. Roman Reigns started...

Despite getting such high numbers, only 78,453 would be in the same stadium for the second night of 'Mania 38. So, what gives?

The secret to a high attendance is simple: book the biggest venue out there, put as many chairs on the floor as you can, then have a smaller stage. With Vince McMahon out the door, his obsession with NFL venues needs to go too. Michigan Stadium is one of eight National Collegiate Athletic Association stadiums with over 100,000 seats. If they put thousands of chairs on the field then the attendance record is up for grabs.

With the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam moving to stadiums (we won't mention that they moved Money in the Bank 2022 from Allegiant Stadium due to low ticket sales), the demand is there. Even if they can't do it, they can make it up.

Your move, Hunter.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
