Props must be given to Rhino for his character work on last night's show.

Seemingly ejected from Violent By Design, the 'War Machine' didn't utter a single word last night, instead standing across from Eric Young, Joe Doering, and Deaner while being chastised by the 'World Class Maniac'. Young, too, was on excellent form throughout; he's dedicated a year and a bit to this new character that it all comes naturally to him now. Mention the sickness and he's nailed his promo.

Before Rhino could deliver an answer to VBD, Heath returned, cleared Doering and Deaner from the ring while Young escaped (he's still sidelined with an injury, remember), and then offered to hug it out with Rhino. This was a key detail for Heath's return - how would he react to Rhino effectively stealing his promised World Tag Team Titles opportunity by cashing in alongside Joe Doering? Perfectly fine, apparently. He just wanted his friend back.

In a subtly smart move, Rhino backed away from ringside, departing through the crowd, his allegiance unknown. It worked perfectly. Neither Heath nor VBD knew what he was thinking, plus it leaves a cliffhanger for next week. It was a fun segment that evolved Rhino's character in the desired manner.
