Matches like this are why the X division is the most talked-about division in Impact Wrestling. Jake Crist defended the X Division Championship in a five person ladder match against Ace Romero, Daga, Ace Austin, and the perennial fan favourite to win Tessa Blanchard in a bonafide match of the night contender.

It was complete mayhem from the moment the bell rang, with Romero attempting a suicide dive early on, only to be met with a ladder courtesy of Tessa and Daga. Later on, Daga pulled out all the stops to prevent Jake Crist from retaining the title, hitting a Canadian destroyer on 'The Golden Draw' off of one ladder on to another one that was bridged across the barricade and the ring apron. Likewise, Tessa took care of Romero a few moments later, knocking him off the top of a ladder through a table.

Dave Crist and Madman Fulton made their presence felt, but Tessa took them both out, even knocking Crist through another table. The distraction was enough to distract her, as Ace Austin whacked her off the ladder with a baton, taking the X Division Championship for himself.

Ace is thoroughly deserving of this win. He's been one of the greatest things to watch in Impact since his arrival earlier in the year - the X Division Championship is the icing on the cake.
