10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2020 (Part 1)

4. Tag Team Wrestling

It's a common fact these days that tag team wrestling in Impact Wrestling (and the majority of major promotions, for that matter) is absolutely superb. The fact was further proven in a three-team encounter, pitting TJP and Fallah Bahh, Dez and Wentz of The Rascalz, and XXXL - the new pairing of Ace Romero and Larry D - against one another.

What was special about this match is that it was essentially half and half, in the sense that Dez, Wentz, and TJP used their sheer athleticism to put on a wonderful display for the at-home crowd, while Bahh, Romero, and D barged through their adversaries. At one stage of the match, Romero sent Dez flying across the ring with a pounce that nearly knocked Dez onto the floor of the venue, while Bahh lifted Larry off his feet like it was nothing for a Samoan drop.

The Final Flash to Larry D, courtesy of Dez, was enough for The Rascalz to win, with this victory surely putting them back in contention to challenge The North for the World Tag Team Championships. They were, obviously, the smallest team in this encounter, but the tenacity they showed throughout reminded everyone watching that The Rascalz aren't just those guys who sit around blazing it in their treehouse - they're also one of the finest teams to ever step foot inside an Impact Wrestling ring.
