10 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 28)

7. Sydal Takes The High Road, Eddie Takes The King's Road

Eddie Kingston Matt Sydal

Eddie Kingston sent a message to Jon Moxley last night, first in a pre-match promo that saw him rip the World Champion for not being there, then by taking Matt Sydal apart in the ring.

This was a good bout that saw Sydal put up enough of a fight to avoid looking like a doormat, though it didn't overstay its welcome. This was appreciated. A 12-minute 50/50 battle would have done little enhance Eddie ahead of the Moxley match. Kingston had trouble with Sydal in various spots, which he should have (as he has been wrestling with increased aggression on Dark), though he ended up putting Matt away in under seven.

Keeping the choke locked in after the bell, Kingston came away from this looking ruthless, mean, and spiteful.
