10 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Jun 10)

4. The Slow Burn

FTR The Young Bucks
AEW

That AEW isn't rushing FTR vs. The Young Bucks is cause for applause. This is something that the core fanbase has been waiting a long, long time for. There's no use in burning it on a show like Fyter Fest. Instead, they should wait for a bigger, more important pay-per-view like All Out, which appears to be what they're doing.

The Bucks wanted to introduce themselves after FTR's in-ring debut. Matt Jackson introduced himself and brother Nick as the guys who have been carrying tag team wrestling on their shoulders for a decade-and-a-half, throwing out an insincere "it's nice to meet you." The Butcher jumped in before things could escalate, however, and a division-wide tag brawl ensued, leaving the Bucks, FTR, and Hangman Page and Kenny Omega standing.

A good angle to showcase the division's new upper tier. Things are stacked at the moment, and that's without mentioning the likes of Best Friends, the Lucha Brothers, SCU, and Proud and Powerful, none of whom were involved.
