10 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 4)

2. Girl With A Plan

Taya Valkyrie always has a trick or two up her sleeve, especially if it means protecting her precious championship. Or, in this case, providing herself with another huge obstacle.

At the time of writing, 'Wera Loca' is scheduled to defend her strap against Tenille Dashwood at Bound For Glory. However, she's now laid down a plan to Jessicka Havok, which came after listening in on Father James Mitchell demanding Havok start showing more remorse. Taya stated that she'll give Havok the title match at Bound For Glory, as long as she's able to take out Tenille beforehand.

In what way is defending the championship against Jessicka Havok a better scenario for Taya? She's a far more formidable challenger, and knows exactly what it takes to hold that title, having previously captured the gold in 2014. If Taya had any sense, then she would have never messed with Havok in the first place. This was far from the best plan she's ever had.

As it currently stands, it will indeed still be Tenille Dashwood challenging for the Knockouts Championship on 20 October.
