3. I Choose You

Just when it looked like Eddie Edwards was choosing Tommy Dreamer to be his tag team partner for a match against Reno Scum, it turns out the former World Champion was instead speaking to Kenny the kendo stick.

This was a tedious segment for more reasons than one. Firstly, didn't Killer Kross snap Kenny in half a few months ago? This infuriated your writer more than it probably should've - Eddie's moved on quickly. Secondly, why is Eddie more focused on taking it to Reno Scum? Sure, they may have drugged him at Brian Cage and Melissa Santos' wedding, but that then resulted in Ace Austin attempting to accompany his wife Alisha to the wedding since Eddie never showed up.

Needless to say, this Eddie Edwards story is a bit all over the place at the moment. While it's not necessarily the worst story to exist, you would at least expect it to make sense for the most part. Unless it was revealed Ace Austin had hired Reno Scum to take out Eddie, then their involvement here makes no sense whatsoever.
