Christ, the Digital Media Title will be worth investing interest in should the matches continue to be this entertaining.
Though it went down on the Countdown To Turning Point pre-show, Jordynne Grace vs. Chelsea Green was a near-banger that will define the championship for the foreseeable future. Both Grace and Green worked against the deficit they were facing from poor booking of the championship, creating an excellent encounter from scraps.
It was 'Thicc Mama Pump' who achieved the majority of this. A heel turn from her wouldn't have been shocking, really, as she wrestled with added intensity, coming from her recent success as a powerlifter. Though she's always relied on her strength, it was an imperative part of her arsenal more than usual; she gorilla pressed Chelsea, before later spiking her via Rikishi Driver. It was sickening, and arguably, should have been the match-ender over the Grace Driver.
Chelsea's stiff strikes were a key part of the match, too, with a hard back elbow being her highlight. She'll be a future champion in IMPACT, whether it's the Digital Media or the Knockouts World Title, but for now, Jordynne Grace is the correct choice for the former.
