Kudos to Daniel Bryan and The Fiend for a stiff-looking strap match for the WWE Universal Championship.

Both men walloped each other with the strap, with Bryan’s back bearing the wounds of war. After absorbing a ton of punishment, D-Bry mounted a comeback, kicking Bray low several times and DDT-ing him on the announce table. He hit several running knees, cracked him with the strap in the face, and locked in the Labell Lock at one point. Bryan even kicked out of a Sister Abigail where Wyatt plucked him out of the air for the move.

But none of it mattered, as The Fiend shrugged it all off and cinched in the Mandible Claw for the win. It was a match in which both men looked strong, but Wyatt continued to look like an absolutely unbeatable villain.
