10 Ups And 13 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 35

3. Inconclusive Finish

Maybe there will be a reason for it later, but we need to rant about the finish to the women’s triple threat main event a little bit.

When Charlotte Flair went through the table toward the end, you knew it was going to come down to Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch for the finish. But rather than a protracted battle, it quickly wound down to Rousey going for Piper’s Pit and Lynch hooking in a crucifix for the pinfall – only, it looked pretty clear that Ronda got her shoulder up at 1, and replays confirmed it.

So Becky won both titles, but instead of closing WrestleMania with a decisive finish, we got a possibility of a Dusty Finish tomorrow, or at least a reckoning between Rousey and Lynch. Honestly, that’s not how you should close WrestleMania – especially the first women’s main event.
