By now, most fans are aware of the heinous attack on Bret “Hitman” Hart by a “fan” at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday night.

What everyone might not be aware of is that Dash Wilder was one of the wrestlers who charged the ring to wrestle the attacker away. While outside the ring, Dash made sure to land a stiff right hook that dropped the idiot “fan” like a sack of potatoes. (This was even better considering the jackass is apparently an amateur MMA fighter.)

So during the Raw Tag Team Championship match, it wasn’t accidental that Michael Cole and Corey Graves snuck in a couple veiled references to that. Graves started off by calling Wilder “heavy-handed” as he entered the match. Later, Cole noted how the Revival was excited to be at the HOF ceremony the previous night and see tag teams like the Hart Foundation inducted.

Small things, but noteworthy nonetheless.
