Shane McMahon faces a fair amount of criticism in these columns, but let’s give credit to him embracing his heel tendencies.

We’ve seen McMahon lash out at ring announcer Greg Hamilton before for not introducing him with enough gusto. That happened again at WrestleMania, with Shane stopping mid-entrance and making him redo the intro, then accost Hamilton in the ring to do it a third time.

This time, Shane conducted Hamilton’s intro, making him build on “Best in the Wooorrrrllllddd!” It was a nice little touch, and then he went one step further, fixing the ring announcer’s tux lapel that he had grabbed moments earlier.

It’s a shame that these mannerisms and actions are being used to put the SmackDown commissioner over as a top heel rather than a wrestler like Samoa Joe.
