13. Carmella Hides To Win

Leave it to WWE to go for the lamest finish possible for its Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal.

Whoever books these battle royals definitely leave a lot to be desired when it comes to actually telling a story with the match itself. We saw Ember Moon return to action for the first time in months – with no mention of her absence or return – and run wild in the early stages, only to get tossed unceremoniously by Lana.

Then the Riott Squad took over and eliminated a few women before Dana Brooke tossed Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan, only get bounced herself. Finally, Asuka ran wild until Sarah Logan, who had a couple small moments throughout, appeared to win by tossing the Empress of Tomorrow.

Only, she didn’t. That’s because Carmella had been hiding on the outside, re-entered the match and won by tossing Logan. Because that’s what we needed here. The babyface woman who didn’t eliminate anyone and disappeared mid-match reappeared to win.

LAME.
