10 Ups And 13 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 35

2. The Man Comes Around

Yes, the pinfall was ugly, but Becky Lynch left WrestleMania 35 with both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. That most certainly deserves an “up” here.

Lynch was never really going to be the focal point of the women’s division, but her heel turn at SummerSlam kicked off a meteoric rise that culminated Sunday with her defeating Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the first female main event in WM history. That’s a pretty hell of a resumé-builder, don’t you think?

Becky closed out the biggest show of the year holding two titles, and you can’t take that away from her. Fans got what they wanted too. So yeah, the screwy pinfall stunk, but we’ll take the ugly win over a beautiful loss every day.
