10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 10)
2. Rollins Stands Tall
The gradual turn of Seth Rollins has reached the point where fans are starting to cheer him more and more, and his match against Chris Jericho marked one of the first times there’s been dueling chants involving his name so strongly.
Rollins fought from underneath pretty nicely, pulling off a hard-fought win by revering the Walls of Jericho into a rollup for 3. It’s just a shame we saw that surprise rollup/submission hold multiple times. Regardless though, the storyline now is that Kevin Owens is on his own in Hell in a Cell, while Jericho is left out in the cold to stew on another title shot slipping through his fingers.
That’s the sort of thing that eats at you, especially when you’re literally close enough to the title to touch it. Who knows though? Maybe Jericho will interject himself into the title scene somehow. Or maybe we’ll get KO retaining through a method similar to AJ Styles: They run through their entire arsenal and then he busts out a chair or uses the cage a bunch as a weapon to retain.
