10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 10)

1. Women Standing Up

It’s not often in this era of WWE that we see women actively seeking out physical confrontations with men, so it was a little refreshing to see Charlotte and Sasha Banks put their differences aside and stand up to a bully Monday night.

Sasha had challenged Charlotte to open Raw and the queen was responding when Rusev cut them off and told them no one cared about their match. That didn’t sit well with either woman, as each grabbed the mic out of Rusev’s hand, then shoved Lana down. While Rusev tended to his wife, Sasha and Charlotte teamed up to dropkick him out of the ring. It was great to see two of the top women’s wrestlers in the company not backing down just because the aggressor was a bigger man.

Of course, they weren’t going to tangle with the Bulgarian Brute, so it made perfect sense for Roman Reigns to come to the rescue, but it wasn’t like a damsel-in-distress moment. Nicely done.
