If this is supposed to be Stephanie McMahon’s character, it’s a little confusing. Sure, the Raw commissioner is supposed to be two-faced, but this seems a bit odd, even by WWE’s standards.

Monday, Stephanie was overly nice to GM Mick Foley, complimenting his clothes accompanying him to the ring, backing him up and defending him when he needed it. All of it is exactly what you’d expect from a babyface authority figure, so does that mean she’s turned without telling the world? Or is this a façade until we wake up in a few weeks and realize she’s in total control and has ousted Foley because she can’t trust him.

It’s possible we’re supposed to see this Jeckyl & Hyde routine and be suspicious, but it’s also giving WWE credit for nuance writing, which hasn’t always been a strong suit. So for now, we’ll give this a small negative.
