You have to kind of feel bad for Primo and Epico. Who would have thought that portraying masked bullfighters would be considered an upgrade from their new gimmick?

The duo’s turn as the Shining Stars has been a disaster, with the cousins competing in only their second match on Raw Monday night (and first in more than two months), losing to Enzo Amore & Big Cass pretty convincingly. Their gimmick of talking about how great Puerto Rico is while putting down local venues already has worn thin, and no one really can be giving them much of a chance at this point.

It would almost be better if they just were generic heels rather than continuing on this “evil travel guide” path. If only Carlito would return to WWE to straighten his family out…
