10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 2nd)

4. Dolph The Whipping Boy

It seems like Dolph Ziggler€™s role has evolved into a human Timex €“ takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Ziggler got beat up pretty bad by Kevin Owens, his knee being targeted throughout the bout to the point where he couldn€™t stand under his own power. It€™s a blessing and a curse for Dolph, who can sell punches like he€™s been shot. On one hand, selling is a big thing for professional wrestlers. On the other hand, he€™s so good at it that he often ends up taking a lot of physical €œabuse.€ What made this worse for Ziggler was then getting distracted Monday night by a selfie-taking Tyler Breeze at ringside. Dolph lunged for Breeze who wasn€™t even interfering, then walked right into a Pop-Up Powerbomb as Owens won. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sV-wawxICI All of it made Ziggler look like a chump, getting beaten up during the match, getting distracted like a rookie and eating another loss. Worse yet was the juxtaposition of the 2014 Survivor Series (which was highlighted during the show), when Ziggler beat three members of the Authority to (temporarily) oust them from power. Scary to think that that is the same person.
