10 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 18)
2. It’s The Brand Supremacy, Stupid!
Raw featured three high-profile matches Monday night.
All three ended the same way: DQs or non-finishes due to outside interference.
Seth Rollins/Andrade, Kevin Owens/Drew McIntyre, and Randy Orton & Ricochet/Viking Raiders all ended prematurely due to SmackDown or NXT personnel showing up, because it’s Survivor Series season, so we must have constant battles for brand supremacy.
If you checked the results of the Raw and SmackDown episodes right before Survivor Series during the brand split, it’s a safe bet that nearly every one of them ended in a massive brawl… because that’s what you do to show how serious this battle for brand supremacy really is.
It’s so expected that when the Raw Tag Team Championship match happened in the main event, you would be excused if you didn’t react to the “possibility” of the tag title changing hands and merely kept an eye out for the interference.
That’s just so sad, that WWE is so predictable that you could write the entire ending three hours before it happened.
